R.L. sold his first pieces of furniture (fun fact - it was his OWN living room set)
M-F 10am – 6pm; Sat 9am – 4pm
When R.L’s son Roddy decided to retire, he wanted to keep the family tradition alive – to carry on the legacy his parents worked so hard to build. He found the perfect family to pass the reins to in loyal customer Tim Beldner and Tim’s brother-in-law Zach Simonds. Today, Tim and Zach are committed to carrying on the tradition of hard work, trust, quality, and integrity the Tucker family established.

Roddy, R.L.’s son, took over the Kannapolis location when his father received a cancer diagnosis and needed to cut back on work
Tucker Furniture founder R.L. passed away leaving his wife Maragart in charge of the Midland location and Roddy in charge of the Kannapolis location
After the mill in town closed, Roddy decided it was time to close the Kannapolis store and head home to take over for his mother
Dale Earnhardt Jr. advertises for the store (fun fact - Dale Jr.’s father and Roddy were best friends, and Roddy had given Dale Jr. a television before he became a famous race car driver. Turns out, he still had it!)
Roddy retires and passes the keys to a new family, and the current owners, Zach Simonds & Tim Beldner
